Notes:
For NYC, I can be swayed to go to Boston instead- I have had equal interest in both!
For Atlanta, I may go to either Florida, or Austin Texas instead, I am totally torn on this one but seem to have the most interest in the southeast area- especially Florida, so I thought that Atlanta would be most central for everybody. BUT- hurricanes are also a consideration!!
For LA, I’d love to go to San Diego, but have had a strong interest from people who live in the greater LA area. BUT, if those folks are willing to travel to San Diego, I’ll go there instead. I love San Diego!
Edmonton Alberta is a for-sure thing! Who knew there were so many aspiring pet photographers there! LOVE Canada!
Timing: these months are NOT set in stone, but rather targets and the timing is the most challenging part of scheduling next year. Weather is what I am working with/around. I also need to be in Seattle as much as possible during the summer as this is when I am busiest with the business.

**Also, if you are not a photographer but live in or near one of these cities and would like me to come and photograph your dog(s), please let me know! I will be combining private client shoots with my trips and plan to spend one week in each place- 4 days workshops, 3 days shooting. And don’t worry- you won’t need to sell a kidney to work with me!**

JUNE 7TH, 2008:
I am super excited to announce the big project of the year: Cowbelly Workshops! (this is project #2 for those who have been following me. project #1 is much smaller but still in the works)
Cowbelly Pet Photography workshops are 3-day intensive workshops designed to teach startup and established photographers everything they need to start, build, and grow successful pet photography businesses and become really rocking at what they do!
The workshops are taught by me, Jamie Pflughoeft, owner of Cowbelly Pet Photography in Seattle.
It is my personal goal to see everyone who completes the workshops become wildly sucessful in their businesses. I intend to hold nothing back and give a no-holds-barred account of what it has taken me to get to where I am, now 5 years into my business that has become everything I dreamed it could be and more. I share my triumphs, my mistakes, my learning experiences, and most importantly my massive accumulation of knowledge born from a longtime obsession with pet photography.
The first Cowbelly Workshop is slated for September 12th-14th, 2008 and will be held in Seattle, WA, in the beautiful Belltown neighborhood near the Seattle Waterfront, on the edge of downtown. Full days Friday through Sunday, with a yummy dinner and drinks on the final night.
It will be 3 full days of learning and experiencing. Loads of fun, loads of information, a plethora of resources, hands-on experience on location and in the studio, guest speakers on studio pet photography, marketing to the pet industry and doing editorial dog photography, great food, great company, and the best possible way to expand your mind and learn everything you need to know to build the business of your dreams.
