These guys are three of the most playful, happy-go-lucky, energetic yorkies I have had the pleasure of meeting. We spent the first half of our shoot playing ball at a park in their neighborhood in Tacoma, and the second half relaxing around the house and yard.
Tiggz. 10-month old yorkie puppy. Bet you’ve never seen a black yorkie! Love his tuxedo coloring. He is a great dancer too. Very Fred Astaire.

You know how they say that in life you get back what you put out there? I am lucky enough that I seem to attract dogs that are all about having fun, which is no surprise because I am too! Life is too short to take too seriously- grab a ball, and a friend, and head outdoors and have a great time.
Taz with the curly tongue- Brodie with the flat tongue.

This kitty is Taz and Brodie’s roommate. I could kick myself for forgetting his name! He is one of the most beautiful cats I have ever photographed. He is not only gorgeous but he has an awesome personality to boot- was super friendly and easy-going and playful. Ok, now I’ve gotta go find out his name again. I (still) can’t believe I forgot!

You wanna see something really crazy? Check out this next series and see if you can figure out what it is.

Close-up of shot above. Talk about timing!!!

Cute yorkie smiles and butts alert!

Make no mistake about it- Tiggz may look all tough and grown-up, but at 10-months old he is still very much a baby, and still seeks the comfort of his mother’s arms. Awww…

I love the shot on the left below because Tiggz’s tag matches his tongue. Not because the tag is pink, but because I was wearing a pink shirt that was reflected in the silver tag. Cool!

This last shot is of Brodie and Taz’s dad’s shoes he was wearing as part of a crazy electric blue ensemble he planned to wear to a friend’s wedding that day as a practical joke. Those were some of the coolest shoes I have ever seen. I tried to get some shots of the dogs with them but they weren’t having any of it sadly. Check out the gold tips. Sooo stylin.

I have to give a big shout out to Cresta for being so incredibly patient with me in getting the shoot booked. I am not worthy!
And another shout out to Brodie for being so sweet with me and honoring me with his (apparently very rare) kisses. I feel so lucky!
Oh, and one last shout out to the bee that decided to crash our photo session. That was one of the coolest surprises I’ve seen post-shoot yet!
