I’ve been going through my archives quite a bit lately for some commercial projects. I keep stumbling across images I think are funny, and decided to share them here. Here’s the first- Seamus, from 2007. He’s awesome. lol

Prepare for cute kitty overload! Meet this fabulous group of 7 kitties I photographed recently. It’s a long post, but given my lack of blogging lately (sorry- been *super duper* busy!), I hope it makes up for it. Yay, I finally got my kitty fix! Enjoy.

Father & son below, enjoying some ‘kneading’ time.

Minnie Mouse, enjoying one of the catnip kitty toys I brought with me.

Arthur *loved* the white mouse I brought and went nutso all over the house with it. Here he is in a post-play daze, lol

Minnie Mouse also went nuts on the mouse ……… although I’m not so sure she was crazy about the flavor.

Thank you Gabriela and Rod for having me come and photograph your feline menagerie! I had dreamed of a shoot like this for many months, and you made my dream come true. Say hi to everyone for me! I hope Simba is still enjoying his necktie.
oh hai. my name is simba. i am a kitty jamie photographed yesterday. (she photographed my 6 brothers and sisters yesterday too, but i was the funnest because i am king of the serengeti). thanks for stopping by. you’ll see more of me soon. bye fur now!

by the way, for the 3 of you who haven’t yet checked out icanhascheezburger or ihasahotdog yet, you simply must go there. They are hysterical.
Oh, and by the way, Simba’s eyes really look like that, sans-photoshop doctoring. They are amazing.
Never before have I witnessed as close a relationship between an animal and a human than Willow and his mom. It was a connection so profound that it was hard for me to even photograph. At the ripe old age of 19, Willow’s time had come, and 7 days following our shoot he was gone.
I feel deeply honored that I was able to participate in and honor such an amazing bond. Willow this post is my tribute to you little buddy. May you dream of fish and butterflies for all time and may your heart be alight with the love for you that continues on now and forever.

A gorgeous stained glass art piece Willow’s mom had made of her little buddy who had been with her since middle school.
