Dingo & Spirit

Some of you may remember Spirit from her photo here a few posts back, that also serves as the avatar for the Cowbelly fan page on facebook. She is the sweetest, cutest older pooch I have ever had the pleasure of working with. And her brother Dingo is pretty rad too.

Whoever said dogs don’t smile probably also thinks the earth is flat.

Dingo has the coolest collar. I love it.

Thank you Donna for coming and joining us in Atlanta. I had a fabulous time with your kids. Prints to come very soon!

Happy spring!

I just discovered that we are in spring (finally, that was a long winter). Yes, I know I am a little bit late, ha. But in honor of spring, I wanted to wish you all a good one! I hope y’all are as happy about this as I am. Now go get out there and smell some flowers, or enjoy this inspirational quote on photography, and very ‘springlike’ shot of Skylark in the flowers.

Spike & Kiki

Spike and Kiki are brother and sister to sweet Mattie, bless his little soul. I fell in love with Kiki and her gentle nature and darling underbite, and Spike’s big heart surrounded by a tough-guy exterior. They are both rescued pups too, which makes me love them that much more.

What do you guys think of my new scalloped edges? They were a serious PITA to create, but I finally have it down to where my blog image prep is fully automated, which will save me a bazillion hours over how I used to do it. Which means more time to post more images, yay!

My faves below. The shot here on the left is totally unlike anything I would normally post, but I find the colors and textures intriguing.

Charlie Lightroom art

Bet you didn’t know you could design art in Lightroom did you? Well, you can. With enough tweaking of the sliders and a little bit of creativity, you can create some off-the-wall designs, like this one of Charlie I did a few weeks ago. I like him in pink.
