new Workshops website

Frustrated by my barely functional picaholic flash website, this week on the spur of the moment I built a new and improved HTML website for my workshops site. Fast loading, bug-free, *much* more user-friendly and pretty to look at. No more flash for this kid- it’s HTML all the way, and I couldn’t be happier! I still need to add a few links and do a few tweaks, but it should be ‘public-ready’. Check it out and let me know if you find any glaring issues. :-)

You’ll notice it looks a lot like my regular Cowbelly Pet Photography website. That’s because it was built on the same template that I designed a couple of years ago. I updated all of the menu items, and switched out the text and images, but the skeleton is the same.

NEW(ly updated) website!

I finally, finally (finally) finished working on my new website. The skeleton is the same, but some pages have been removed, a few added, the images made bigger, the galleries changed, the wrapper background changed to match this blog, etc, etc, etc.

It is still very much in tweaking mode, and will continue to have changes made, but for now I’m pretty happy with it. ESPECIALLY the home page, which was really the inspiration for the overhaul. Check out Charlie and Seymour!!! Apparently their mom is stuck in an underground bunker somewhere in Wisconsin with her family, waiting for tornadoes or something, and she pulled up the website on the one computer in the ‘bunker’ this morning, saw the new website and she and her entire family cried with joy. She called me a little while ago, barely able to talk. Yippee!

Also, if you do a little bit of digging, you will stumble on yet another TWO new additional websites, built and designed by yours-truly over the past few months. Hence the reason for all of the hard work lately! The last 5 months of nose-to-the-grindstone work came to fruition in the middle of the night last night. I’m exhausted yet relieved. :-)

And on the topic of new websites, check out my next post……
