Scout the sweet Ridgeback in her golden years

I positively fell in love with Scout when I met her, because I can see so much of Fergie in her when Fergie gets older. It’s like seeing into the future, and I will be a lucky lucky girl if Fergie is half as great as Scout when she gets to be 11. Scout has many health and mobility issues and her parents are just trying to make her life as comfortable as possible. She is in great spirits, and is very food motivated, which is always great to see in a dog who is terminally ill. I feel incredibly lucky to have had the opportunity to photograph her.

Isn’t she pretty?

Tell me this isn’t the cutest thing you’ve ever seen. I dare you.

Scout I love you! Robin thank you so much for hiring me to create photographic art of your sweet girl. It was an experience I will cherish for a lifetime, and I hope we get the opportunity to work together again someday. :-)

Dingo & Spirit

Some of you may remember Spirit from her photo here a few posts back, that also serves as the avatar for the Cowbelly fan page on facebook. She is the sweetest, cutest older pooch I have ever had the pleasure of working with. And her brother Dingo is pretty rad too.

Whoever said dogs don’t smile probably also thinks the earth is flat.

Dingo has the coolest collar. I love it.
