Chloe & Bailey

Chloe and Bailey were my two adorable models during my client shoot for the Seattle workshop in June. They were so much fun to work with, not in small part because they are my sweetie’s dogs and I know them well, but also because they both have personality plus to begin with. I look forward to doing many more shoots with these girls. Thanks T for bringing them out to our shoot. I had a blast! :-)

I call Chloe ‘Snaggles’ for short.

As I compose this post, Chloe and Bailey are snoring away as two good little pugs and bulldogs should! Hope you guys enjoyed their pictures. More pics on the blog to come! :-)

Chloe & Bailey snow day

These photos were taken in March during one of our snowy weekends. This is Chloe and Bailey, Fergie’s new buddies who come to stay with us most weekends. Fergie loves them and so do I. You will see more photos of these girls to come, hopefully taken in sunshine (come on sun, we are waiting for you!). Enjoy. :-)

That’s Bailey, and she’s even cuter in person (I know, seems hard to believe). Bailey is one of the cutest pugs I have ever met. She makes your heart melt with her big brown eyes. My nickname for her is ‘Puggie’.

That’s Chloe there on the right. Also, arguably one of the cutest English Bulldogs I’ve ever met. I call her ‘Snaggles’ for short, due to her superadorable snaggle tooth, which you will see at the end of the post.

I broke my own rule below by taking a photo of Bailey when she was taking care of business. Poor girl. But come on, how cute is she? And there is Chloe’s snaggletooth. Not the best quality photo of her, but I had to post it so you could see how adorable she is. This is her normal face. Hee hee.

More photos of these girls to come. Hope everyone has a great weekend! Next post: gorillas! :-)

Bailey finally gets her shoot

You guys remember Bailey and her mom Kathy? The ones whose shoot was rescheduled so many times over the past year due to weather I was beginning to think it might never happen?

Well guess what. We finally did it! Yay!!

And aside from a little issue which almost got us kicked out of the park (Kathy this will be our little secret) it went great. No sunny skies but the light was perfect for this pure white girl and enabled me to get some really interesting photographs of her fur, which I personally find fascinating. Here are a few of my favorites from our session.

Her fur is magical.

Not normally a fan of shooting straight down on a dog, but these shots make me giggle.

Bailey has the softest belly.

Two new all-time faves below. Bailey is all girl.

Super busy this week trying to wrap things up with current clients and get ready for the upcoming trip to California, but Christina and I have already started implementing some of our changes and things are going great! It’s so cool to know I can run around like a chicken with my head cut off and I’ve got someone in the studio taking care of business. And I can see the benefits for all involved, which is well, just awesome.

Happy Tuesday! :-)
