Although Molly Ringwald‘s parent’s ordered my largest collection of products, and a custom Decopaw Art quad, it was the inclusion of one of my favorite products I sell- the 8×12 photo book, that thrilled me most. At 45 pages, it’s thick, heavy, substantial, high-end, and gorgeous. I am very lucky in that nearly all of my clients over the past 4 years has ordered a photo book, and that thrills me to no end because it’s the perfect way to showcase the wide variety of images I create at each of my shoots, which all include two locations- usually outdoors + home. Although this was certainly not the first 8×12 book I’ve sold, it was the first using this semi-matte/semi-lustre/fully awesome paper stock, which knocks it out of the park. Before I brought the book over to Molly’s house I snapped a few photos if it.
All of my books include stories, quotes and other fun stuff, some created by me, some created by my clients. This was a fun story Molly’s parents created coupled with a collage I designed on the left.
There is no cropping of images required in any of the sizes of my photo books. My client’s images retain their original composition, which is great because I compose all of my shots in-camera and hate having to crop anything.
Beautiful lay-flat flush-mount pages means no image loss in the margins.
The 8×12 book next to my 7×10 studio sample from 2007, which still looks just as great as the day it was received in the mail, even though it has been handled by literally hundreds of people at workshops, events, and client meetings around the Greater Seattle area and beyond.
If you are a potential Cowbelly client and interested in booking a session with me, you can get a beautiful photo book of your own pet’s images. All but my smallest collection comes with this type of book (book sizes go from small to large as collections increase in price), and I promise you, once you see it, you will have to have it.More info on Cowbelly Custom Creative products here!
