Pt. III of the NWPP interview is live!

Part III of my interview with James Morrisey of the Nature, Wildlife and Pet Photography forum is now online. This part addresses how I approach shoots, from picking the location to how I work, as well as details the WPPI master class I’m teaching in Vegas in 2011. Enjoy!

2010 Holiday Cards

I have some really fun options for holiday cards for my clients this year. If you are a potential client interested in booking a shoot with me that includes 5×7 holiday greeting cards, take a look at the templates below, any of which can be customized with your favorite photo from our session. AND, the next two clients who book a 90-minute photo shoot that takes place between now and November 15th will receive a complimentary 25 pack of Holiday Cards (a $100 value!). Why? Because I’m feeling generous this year, and I love love my clients. :-)

Interested in booking a shoot for the holidays? Check out the main website for more info on rates and process, and give me a shout to schedule. (Please note that I cannot fulfill Christmas card orders on shoots booked after November 20th! I also can’t customize these for non-clients, sorry. Only with the photographs I take!).

Charleston Frenchie puppy

Sorry about the delay between posts guys! I’m up to my eyeballs in product orders. I’ve got about 30 prints, 5 canvases and 4 photobooks to edit/design.

Anyway, this little cutie-patootie is Charleston, and he belongs to my dear friend and Colleague J. Nichole Smith. How cute is this little fella?!

Yep, if Charlie were my dog, I’d be kissing his little mug every chance I got too.

I love this behind the scenes photo. When you work with dogs, you’ve gotta do what you’ve gotta do to get the shot. lol

Nichole I hope you like the photos of your little Charlie Bear! :-)

Matthew

Anyone want to guess at what breed Matthew is? I’ll give you a hint- he’s not a papillon, he’s not a pomeranian, and certainly not a corgi mix (the shelter’s guess). I’ll leave the answer in the comments after you’ve had a chance to guess.

IMHO this would make the perfect Christmas card.

Matthew has the cutest car seat. I totally have dog car seat envy, having a pooch that is just a little bit too big to fit in pretty much any canine car seat made.

Matthew has lots of ‘friends’ in the way of little stuffed toys. Here’s something astonishing: he knows the name of every single one by heart, and learned them after hearing the name only one time. He brings them out to his mom when they are having breakfast, and piles them around himself. His mom will come home from work and he’ll have them arranged on the bed like he did on the left there. How cute is that?!

Julia thank you so much for inviting me to come and photograph Matthew. I’m excited about our products for your stairs and can’t wait to see his cute mug on canvas!
