This beautiful, sweet mastiff mix is Snickers, and I had the pleasure of photographing her during our mock client shoot during my workshop last Friday. (On every Workshop Friday I do a 60-minute shoot that is very close to what I’d do for a regular client, and have the attendees watch and take notes). I have met Snickers several times before at Seattle dog events, but this was the first time I’ve photographed her. She is just as sweet and awesome as she looks and I’m so happy I had the opportunity to work with her.

She was getting ready to take a treat from her mom’s mouth here and was *very* excited.

The love they share is palpable, and reminds me of my relationship with Fergie.

How can you not love Snickers?!

Some of my favorite urban shots ever came from this shoot.

Jen thank you SO much for coming and bringing Snickers, and thank the sweet girl for being such a trooper in the heat! I hope I get the chance to see you guys again soon.

Hey Jamie – beautiful work as usual.
In the “urban” shots, the lighting looks very direct but there are minimal shadows on Snickers face. Were you close to a wall that was reflecting light, correcting this with Lightroom or both?
Thanks!
Steve
Aww such a pretty girl indeed
Your work is awesome again.
The dog portraits are just amazing!
Love the last series!
Beautiful shots. I also love the urban ones.
