The irony here is not just that I did two shoots for two different weimeraners in the past four days, but also that they are both girls, and both Christmas gifts for significant others. (Yes, the holiday work has began folks!). This isn’t the first time something like this has happened. Last year I did two shoots for two pairs of pugs one week apart in the same location and they were both fawn and black.
Since I can’t show you any whole images of the weim gals, in the miniscule chance the gift recipients might stumble on this blog, I am showing you a few snippets from these shoots now, then if I remember (ha!) will show you more images in January. Some from yesterday are now on my favorites ever shot list. I so wish I could share them with you! Ah well, for now these will have to do. 🙂
taken yesterday right in front of my studio. an accidental capture.
Being in an urban area provides lots of interesting opportunities for backdrops, like this shot here. She kind of reminds me of the low-key black and white pano crop dogs in this shot. Only in color instead. 🙂
The light outside was gorgeous yesterday. I love this time of year.
these were taken at a certain off-leash dog park about 30 minutes northeast of Seattle. I have yet to photograph a weimeraner who hasn’t done this adorable lip-stuck move.
it was POURING rain during our shoot, BUT, we still had an *awesome* session. I mean, it was fantastic. Pouring rain be damned.
I like to think that this is how every dog feels when I am photographing them. Pure joy!
Lots more dog images coming up! I don’t even know where to start, which is why I did this quick and easy post first, lol.
There is still time to vote! 🙂
