graphic designer needed!

Well folks, the time has come for me to admit defeat in my attempt to pretend I am a graphic designer. A REAL graphic designer I will never be, a wannabee I will always be. sniff…

Some samples of my past attempts at graphic design, starting in 2003, only one of which I am enamored with (hint: it’s in the fall issue of CityDog magazine):

**btw: even though SOME of these are old designs, they are not ‘up for grabs’. Please don’t steal my designs, copying makes me CRAY-ZEE.**

I have a project coming up later this year that I will need some serious (and GOOD) graphic design help on for printed materials. I am looking for someone who is not only talented, but has a great range as well. Someone who is able to do a wide variety of styles, and gets my fun colorful branding but can translate that into something professional and marketable. It would be great if they also had some experience designing marketing for dog businesses, but it isn’t entirely necessary.

With the workshop coming up this weekend, 6 clients to proof as soon as possible, and Christina off until Thursday, I have no time to search online for a great graphic designer but need to at least start thinking about it so I thought I would post my request here.

Do you know any, or have worked with any, graphic designers that you really love? If yes please leave their name and website link as a comment on this post. If I pick a ‘winner’ from the comments the commenter will receive something special in the mail from me. Don’t forget to leave your email address! Thanks SO very much for your help!ย

  3. I’m a graphic and web designer based in Tacoma, and most (…wait, make that ALL) of my design work has related to dogs. I have done a lot of sites for dog breeders and dog-related businesses. If you’re interested, shoot me an e-mail. I’d love to work with you!

  4. I love the logo you have now, but I definitely understand why you would want a professional doing it for you. I don’t know of any designers, I designed my logo myself (and still question if I want to keep it). I hope you find an amazing one! ๐Ÿ˜€
