I was positively delighted when Brandie sent me the photo of this amazing painting a couple of weeks ago. It’s called ‘Barkalounger’, was painted by Washington artist Connie Townsend, and is on display over in Kirkland, Washington at the Howard/Mandville Gallery. It is for sale and I don’t know if it’s still there but you can call Pat Howard at the gallery and find out: 425-889-8212. It is of course an original one-of-a-kind and features the summer issue whose cover was shot by yours-truly. Of course, I love it because it’s a pug. Go pugs!! I get to shoot another pug tomorrow night, yippee.

HAHA! Omg this totally cracked me up. I adore the style of this painting too. And I’m glad you’re back! Can you please show us photos of your new studio now?
soon Grace, very soon! I just need to get a few more things for my office and then I can take (and post) photos of the studio and office. I can’t wait to share!

Oh I love it. That must have been some quick work on Connie’s part. Didn’t that issue only come out recently?
That really is a great painting! I’m still chuckling!
