I can tell you that with wordpress the files are just uploaded via plain old ftp to your server, so as far as I know what you see when you upload is what you get- no changes made. One thing that you may want to try is to save all of your pics for the web, using PS's 'save for web'. This always seems to bump up the saturation (and contrast) a bit. I know it takes a little longer than plain old 'save as' but it might help! You could also create a batch action to 'save for web' all of the files at once, which would speed things up. Also, do some reading on color management in photoshop- there are a lot of different elements that go into how colors display. You may need to tweak your PS settings too.
