Duke: lover of all things ‘ball’ ’sneak peek’

After having a very crummy frustrating afternoon and evening filled with email, internet, phone and software issues I was resolved to throw in the towel early and head to bed with the cloud of gloom still hanging over my head. Then I looked at Duke’s images from our shoot at Magnuson Park last weekend. And I laughed out loud and had a smile on my face the whole time. It’s a great way to end the day. Cloud of gloom be damned.

This is how Duke walks with his ball in his mouth. Head held high. The entire time.

Crazy busy at the off-leash beach that day, as it always is on nice days. Made doing a shoot there treacherous but FUN!

I was quite impressed with Duke’s mom’s ball-skipping skills.

One mouth, two balls.

Yes, it was very busy. Umm, notice what is going on in the far right? Hee hee hee…

In case you missed it the first time around….

Lovely, lovely day.

If I had to describe Duke’s personality in one shot, it would be the one on the left. ‘Nuff said.

Tell me that’s not the cutest dog face you have ever seen. Man those eyes…

Actually, this shot below may be the one I use to describe Duke’s personality. “Are you gonna throw it now???”

duke14 Duke: lover of all things ball sneak peek

“How about now?”

duke15 Duke: lover of all things ball sneak peek

“You are going to throw it. Now. Throw it now”.

duke16 Duke: lover of all things ball sneak peek

“throw it…throw it….throw it… throw it.. throwit THROWIT!!”

duke17 Duke: lover of all things ball sneak peek

“Yeehaaa!”

duke11 Duke: lover of all things ball sneak peek

Happy, happy dog.

So ‘Duke’.

In case you missed it the first time around…. (sorry I had to!!)

To those clients who haven’t heard from us, please be patient as we deal with our email issues. I made some fixes today that hopefully will help, and I will also be moving our website and emails over onto a different server (already set up, just need to find time to do the migration).

Off to bed now and hoping tomorrow is a technology-issue-free day!

So beautiful. I especially love the last three. Very crisp and saturated. Love the perspective. I’m a photographer too.

Hi Pen, I don’t have any experience with flickr, so don’t know if they adjust/modify the files upon upload. I can tell you that with wordpress the files are just uploaded via plain old ftp to your server, so as far as I know what you see when you upload is what you get- no changes made. One thing that you may want to try is to save all of your pics for the web, using PS’s ’save for web’. This always seems to bump up the saturation (and contrast) a bit. I know it takes a little longer than plain old ’save as’ but it might help! You could also create a batch action to ’save for web’ all of the files at once, which would speed things up. Also, do some reading on color management in photoshop- there are a lot of different elements that go into how colors display. You may need to tweak your PS settings too.

I’m lovin the new blog. I used the same template when I started my new blog a few months back, and I agree it’s been great. I think I need some more customisation though. It looks positively dull compared to yours. Love the new BIG images too!
